The Circus of dreams is a street theater production of the Compania Tétaté specially created for children and all that have stayed one at heart. One suitcase and three figures tell stories about courage, confidence, and the power of dreams.

A long time ago there was a circus, a circus of dreams, the artists and performers came from all corners of the world to travel around our wonderful planet. Countless colourful waggons, artists, fortunetellers, and circus workers trekked through the countries, heard wondrous new languages and music that they had never heard of before. Yet as many other beautiful things the world changed, and the times of the dazzling Circus performances came to an end. The Circus of Dreams had to close. Many, many years later only a suitcase remained. One day, when Marietta was at her grandmothers, she found this suitcase in the attic.

The Culture association Compania Tétaté was founded in 2016 by Sabine Maringer and Georg Aichberger with the goal to support and bring drama, dance, music, painting, circus, and acrobatics onto the streets, alleys, and squares. Since 2016, Compania Tétaté is member of the German Federation for Theater in Public Spaces.
