Lucia

I am Lucia. I was born and raised in Moscow, but my DJing found its start in Vienna at the end of 2016. With only 7 I already quit the just begun musical school for studying fine arts and refused the academic musical cookie basket for the artistic freedom by that means upsetting my jazz musician mother. Although I barely learnt any instrument (self-taught guitar riffs), I fiercely caught up by searching, listening and enjoying, seeing no boundaries in genres. I started digging in my early teens but my first encounter with face-to-face vinyl digging began in San Francisco precisely in Amoeba on Haight-Ashbury, where most of my university exchange semester was spent. Since then I have also become a fan of internet radio stations like NTS and Red Light Radio and  Beats in Space, which have definitely left an impact on my selections.  All of that passion has accumulated and an accident has brought me to Elektro Goenner, where I joined guys who Djed for fun every Monday. I uploaded my first mix for my mom’s birthday followed by the other quite extravagant one called Brass and Glory Hallelujah and also had a great pleasure to do a mix for Wiener Endorphine tape #15.
