Sprachcafé by Henriette Herz creates a space where people of any origin, age and interests are invited to gather to jointly create a new language that evolves from spoken interaction and exchange. The project is based on the idea that it is not solely the duty of migrants or asylum seekers to learn the German language but that every single one of us can think of ideas and ways to connect with and get to know each other.
 
Henriette Herz is a collective offering German classes at Amerlinghaus, a centre for culture and communication in Vienna. At Forum Biotopia they offer interactive German classes, cooking sessions and a Sprachcafé.
