Visar Kuçi

Visar Kuçi is a musician and composer from Prishtina, Kosovo, playing several instruments. He is currently the concertmaster of Kosovo Philharmonic, assistant professor for violin at the University of Prishtina and member of Mannheimer Philharmoniker in Germany. His repertoire includes alongside various music genres from classical, jazz, blues, rock, pop to film and theater music, different instruments such as violin, guitar, bass, double bass, piano, mandolin etc.
He also composes music for specific spaces in museums and other buildings. The latest
project in collaboration with the architect Anyla Berisha was “Haptic Space” where he composed
and designed sounds for the Ethnological Museum in Prishtina. He is an active member of bands
like: “Jazzair”,  “Visar Kuçi-Trio”, “Genc Salihu” and “Nesim Maxhuni Quintet”.
